Almost 80% of India’s girls leave school before completing Grade 8. Pratham’s Second Chance program assists them to continue their education and become employable.
The 18-month long Second Chance program costs $500 for one girl to complete her secondary education. Your contribution towards this will change her life forever.

We’re raising the bar on reading and writing. Pratham’s programs have already impacted over 45 million kids.
We’re supporting girls and women in India to further their education. 88% of females in our program have already earned their diplomas.
Our investments continue beyond the classroom, helping young adults improve their professional skills. Pratham has already reached over 50,000 youth.
Our research and programs are available to other countries and organisations, too. Our programs have spread to over 12 countries already.
Pratham's Mission
We’ve developed low-cost solutions that help us improve the quality of learning for Indian children on a large scale. By working with governments and building community programs, we’ve already reached tens of millions of Indian students and young people.
Pratham AUS has committed to focus its fundraising efforts on the “Second Chance” program that provides ongoing education for drop-out girls in India who have had to leave school early.
