Anusha's 21st birthday celebration wish!

Anusha is turning 21 and she is celebrating this special milestone with her family and friends in May 2020!

And in lieu of gifts, she would love the special people in her life to join her in supporting disadvantaged girls in India who have had to drop out of school and to give them a Second Chance to gain an education.

Unfortunately many girls are forced to abandon their education after Grade 8 due to access, cost, family needs and cultural barriers. The Pratham Second Chance program offers these girls a chance to resume their education and attain a Grade 10 certificate, which ensures them a better chance of employment, further study or being better equipped to bring up their own families in the future.

Pratham's Second Chance program operates in the states of Rajasthan (Anusha’s state of origin), Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana.

Since its inception in 2011, Pratham's Second Chance program has benefitted over 27,000 girls with 75% of them successfully passing the Grade 10 Board examination.

You can celebrate Anusha's 21st and help change the life of a young girl in India.
